Pop art is one of my favourite styles. Pop art is an art movement that emerged in the United Kingdom and the United States during the mid- to late-1950s. The movement presented a challenge to traditions of fine art by including imagery from popular and mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane cultural and everyday objects, here the bicycle.

Let's face it during lockdown this might be the only kind of bar we can enjoy. Superb cycling art, a simple bike shape created on a contemporary teal background. There is something about the shape of a bike which is very appealing. Perhaps it's that memory of the freedom we first enjoyed as kids, or simply that it's one of the few machines that doesn't hide it's mechanical workings. Either way cycling is becoming ever more popular as people realise what a joy it is to be on two wheels again.
